PUBLIC MASSES ARE LIMITED TO ONLY 50 PEOPLE AT EACH MASS. BECAUSE OF THIS, YOU MUST BOOK A PLACE

IF THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE, YOU CAN PHONE THE CHURCH AND MAKE A BOOKING (0141 552 1823). BUT THIS SHOULD BE A LAST RESORT, OTHERWISE WE WILL BE UNABLE TO DEAL WITH ALL THE CALLS. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A BOOKING, SADLY, YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY. THIS IS A TEMPORARY MEASURE, SO, PLEASE BEAR WITH US AS WE GRADUALLY MOVE TOWARDS FULL RE-OPENING. DATA PROTECTION (GDPR) MEASURES WILL BE IN PLACE AND YOU MAY VIEW THE PRIVACY NOTICE ON THE BOOKING PAGE.
AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR BOOKING YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BY EMAIL TO CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE WITHIN THE 50 ALLOCATED PLACES. IF YOU ARE BOOKING FOR MORE THAN ONE PERSON PLEASE NOTE THIS ON THE FORM USING THE DROP DOWN BOX. DETAILS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR EACH PERSON UP TO A MAXIMUM OF FOUR PEOPLE ON ONE BOOKING.
HOWEVER, THE BISHOPS OF SCOTLAND WISH TO EMPHASISIE THAT OBLIGATION TO ATTEND MASS IS STILL LIFTED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE AND THOSE 'SHIELDING', THOSE WITH SYMPTOMS OF THE VIRUS, OR WHO WILL HAVE DIFFICULTIES TRAVELLING TO CHURCH, SHOULD NOT ATTEND IN THE EARLY STAGES OF RE-OPENING. ALSO, FOR THE TIME BEING, YOU MAY CHOOSE TO GO TO MASS ON ANOTHER DAY WHILE SUNDAY MASSES ARE CURRENTLY RESTRICTED.
DO NOT ENTER THE CHURCH IF YOU ARE ‘SHIELDING,’ IN SELF-ISOLATION OR HAVE SYMPTOMS/FEEL UNWELL. YOU MUST WEAR A FACE COVERING WHILE INSIDE THE BUILDING. PLEASE USE HAND SANITISER ON ENTERING AND LEAVING THE BUILDING.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE SIGNAGE AND INSTRUCTIONS OF OUR STEWARDS TO KEEP EVERYONE AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE.
STREAMING SERVICES WILL CONTINUE FROM THE ORATORY AT 7PM ON SUNDAYS AND AT 12.15PM ON WEEKDAYS AND SATURDAYS.
CHURCH OPENING FOR PRAYER, ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT, AND THE SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION WILL BE ON
MONDAYS FROM 2.00-4.00PM
WEDNESDAYS FROM 2.00-4.00PM
SATURDAYS FROM 3.00-5.00PM
Please note the following for your visit to the Church:
1. People should have their own face covering
2. Follow carefully the instructions as to social distancing
3. Do not touch or kiss statues etc.
4. Enter and exit by different doors which will be signposted
5. Use the hand sanitizing facilities provided
6. Do not move around the church
7. Be aware there will be no toilet facilities
8. Holy Water fonts will be empty but if you bring your own the priest can bless it for you.
9. You may not touch votive candles but if you wish to leave your donation a priest or one of the stewards can light them for you.
REOPENING OF PARISHES – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
***Here in St. Mungo’s, we will need lots of volunteers to help us with infection control and stewarding when phased reopening begins. Perhaps you might email me and let me know if and when you might be available to give a hand***.
